Matthew Currin will be presenting a training course on:
Time Critical Decision Making and the Transfer of Experience and Knowledge
WHEN:October 6th and 7th from 1:30 – 2:45pm
WHERE: at EM Today in Greensboro, NC.
DESCRIPTION: 0200 in the morning—the tone goes off on your radio. A major accident has taken place on I-77 involving multiple cars and a transport truck. The initial call lets you know that there are multiple victims with at least two pinned in their vehicles. The scene has a distinct odor of chemicals in the air. What are you thinking while en route to the scene? What are your responsibilities? Has this ever happened before on I-77? Are we ready inside the ER for the arrival of the trauma? Has the proper information been passed? Who are the players? What kind of time do I have? How am I going to respond?
First Responders and medical personnel are faced with making critical decisions for scenarios just like this every day of their lives. Unlike other environments, however, First Responders know that their decisions can mean the difference between life and death.
In this powerful seminar, we will discuss the time-critical decision-making environment—and the factors that contribute to high-stakes decision-making—in order to enhance First Responder skills in high-stress, high-tempo environments.
Make sure to attend the life changing training course.
