The Convene Training App Creates An Environment To Easily Share Experience and Knowledge
COMING SOON!!!
In the training world, the essence of the word “Convene” implies the ability to successfully bring people together in order to move toward achieving specific, focused, and meaningful training objectives. Over the course of many years, stand-up instructors have honed their skills in not only the ability to convey effective training across both individual and group settings, but have also learned how to maximize the experiences of the participants themselves in order to enhance the overall training impact.
Lack of training often contributes to poor workplace practices
In the new fiscal environment, however, organizations are often challenged with satisfying all of their desired training needs in the face of shrinking training budgets, the lack of available training resources, or under the pressures that come with the need to continuously chase the bottom line. All these challenges are very real, and can often leave an organization falling well short of where they want to be relative to training their workforce. Worse than that, as most leaders know, the lack of training often contributes to poor workplace practices, a lack of organizational standardization, or even poor decision making, all of which can negatively impact an organizations ability to be competitive in a hyper-competitive environment.
“Convene” Training Environment Fills This Need in an Affordable Way
The web-based mobile “Convene” application allows for individuals to come together through the use of an easy to use digital training platform, without the traditional costs, organizational impacts or time constraints that normally accompany face-to-face training events, and enables organizations and trainers across a wide array of skills and specialties to satisfy all of their training objectives in ways that make the most sense for their own organizations. “Convene” enables organizations to ensure their workforce receives the training they need when they need it most, and provides a collaborative, scenario-based training environment that can flex around their organizational constraints while still enhancing knowledge and decision-making within their organizations.
Create Your Own Scenarios
“Convene” administrators have the ability to compose their own scenarios or search across a range of tailored public scenarios in order to determine and define the best training approach for their team. Once identified, the trainer has the ability to assign a scenario to his or her team members, and each member will receive a notification about a new assignment and be directed to the selected scenario.
After reading the background and the situation, each team member has the opportunity to answer a series of questions that are posed to all participants in that scenario. Once the questions are complete, the individual can then see the responses from his or her team members, and can exchange thoughts, ideas and lessons learned with their instructor and their peers. In this environment, participants are free to ask and respond to questions as they arise, which allows for a richer training experience, and enables a true transfer of knowledge that often only occurs in face-to-face exchanges.
Convene’s Virtual Training Enables Learning Through the Sharing of Knowledge with Others
As leaders all know, we each make the best decisions we can make everyday based on the knowledge we have available to us in our personal “kit bags.” The “Convene Training” environment enhances that kit bag by providing flexible, virtual training opportunities, access to shared scenarios and lessons learned, and the benefits of a collaborative resource that facilitates the exchange of ideas and knowledge and experience across both experts and novices alike. With the “Convene Training App”, the only limitation is the imagination of the trainers and the participants, and trainers have access to a tool that enables a true exchange of free-flowing ideas and lessons learned across their organization and their workforce.
