Mr. Vincent Martinez is the President and Owner of Affinity Fidelis Consulting and Technologies, LLC. Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Mr. Martinez enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1986. In 1993, Mr. Martinez received his commission as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, and went on to serve as pilot and Weapons Tactics Instructor (WTI) in the CH-53E Helicopter. Mr. Martinez was eventually board-selected to become one of the first instructor pilots in the then newly acquired MV-22 Osprey Tilt-Rotor aircraft, and served as a key thought leader for establishing innovative best-practice training solutions for the emergent MV-22 Joint Training Program.
During his tenure with the Marine Corps, Mr. Martinez held several key positions on senior staffs in Acquisitions; Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE); Requirements Generation; and Program Management and strategic planning at the service level. After 20 years of service, Mr. Martinez retired from the Marine Corps; and in February 2010, established Affinity Fidelis Consulting and Technologies, LLC in order to provide strategic consulting and contract support services for Federal, Defense and industry-related markets in the National Capital Region (NCR). Since that time, Mr. Martinez has successfully led Affinity Fidelis toward establishing a productive professional presence in the NCR, and has gained market share in a highly competitive environment across multiple Federal, Defense and industry-related contracts as both a prime and sub-contractor.
Mr. Martinez specializes in strategic-level assessment, organizational alignment, integration, and management of enterprise-level endeavors. Key areas of interest for Mr. Martinez are the development and implementation effective, efficient middle management strategies that bring impact at all levels of the organization. Through years of experience in working service/agency-level programs that encompass enterprise-level stakeholders, disparate resource streams, varying organizational perspectives and differing priorities, Mr. Martinez has developed a deep working knowledge of the challenges of enterprise level endeavors that involve multiple stakeholders, and has developed proven solutions for identifying, mitigating, and resolving management and execution issues across all levels and elements of an enterprise.
In 2012, Mr. Martinez was chosen as a Center for Innovative Technologies (CIT), GAP 50 nominee for Virginia’s next generation of innovative entrepreneurs—a nomination given to individuals who were identified as creating high-growth companies in Virginia’s new Innovation Economy. Mr. Martinez is also a published contributing author for a range of defense-related publications, and is a certified Program Manager in the Defense Acquisition Workforce.
Mr. Martinez currently holds a Bachelors of Arts (BA) in English, a Masters of Arts (MA) in Military History (Aviation), and is pursuing his Doctorate (PhD) in Organizational Leadership.
